Key Largo 27 Inboard

Published on May 22, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

When a boat bears the tag “Made in Italy” you know it’s going to be a design beauty and with Bergamo-based Sessa Marine, located just outside of fashion powerhouse Milan, you won’t be disappointed.  One of the latest models to grace their shipyard catwalk is the Key Largo 27 Inboard (IB) and what a beauty she is.

Following the launch of the Key Largo Outboard in September 2011, the new Inboard version offers sleek walk around lines with decent cabin space inside for two.  Elegant and fashionable whilst remaining safe and comfortable, the Key Largo 27 IB has Parma-based Christian Grande Design Works Studio to thank for her trend-setting looks.

Spacious and comfortable

For a relatively small boat, 27 feet or 8.65 metres, the Key Largo 27 IB creates an illusion of a large amount of space.  Outside there is ample entertaining room for up to eight passengers who can spread themselves across the forward sunloungers, central helm station with wet bar and small galley behind and the L-shaped sofa-dinette.  And, using the space gained from swapping outboards for an inboard configuration, the Key Largo 27 IB can also offer a sizeable sunpad and bathing platform to the stern.  Below, the double cabin has a separate shower head making overnighters a real possibility.

Power for the 27 Key Largo 27 IB comes from a single Volvo engine in 300hp gas petrol or 230hp in diesel – the choice is yours.

Keeping it in the Family

Established by the Radice family in 1958, and still run as a family business today with Raffaella, daughter of Founder Camillo, as President and her sons Massimo and Riccardo Radice as the newly nominated CEO and Vice President respectively, Sessa Marine is known for its ability to adapt and innovate.  The Company has made more than 15,000 boats and oversees a dealership network numbering more than 90 across the world.  The family business philosophy means that whilst they are big players in the yacht industry, they will never be too big to care for its customers.
